Should I bring a lawnchair?
For the Rodeo: There are bleachers all around the rodeo arena so there is no room for lawn chairs! There is 1 reserved seating bleacher, and all other seating is general admission.
For the Concerts:The stage area has standing room only in front, with a large bleacher at the back of the crowd for those who prefer to sit. We hope you’ll be up and dancing through the concert! Please note that lawn chairs are not permitted this year, so if you’d like a seat, head to the bleacher area at the back.

Friday: gates open at 5 PM, Rodeo begins at 7 pm, concert at 9pm
Saturday: gates open at 1 PM, Rodeo begins at 4 pm, concert at 9pm
Sunday: gates open at 11 AM, rodeo begins at 2 pm
Can I get tickets at the door?
Advance tickets can be purchased here. This is the best way to ensure you can get into the Rodeo!
There are generally a limited number of tickets available at the door and usually Saturdays’ Rodeo is a SELL OUT. Ordering tickets online early is the safest bet.
Children 3 and under do not need a ticket.
Where can I get tickets online?
Advance tickets can be purchased online HERE. Advance ticket sales and Early Bird Pricing are the best way to ensure you can get into the event and save the most money!

Are tickets good for both days?
Day pass tickets are purchased for a specific day and are valid for that day only (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday). If you want to attend multiple days, you’ll need to buy separate day passes for each day or purchase a weekend pass.
Day Passes include access to the Rodeo and evening concert.
I’m buying tickets online, and I see a spot for a “coupon code”. Where do I get a coupon?
The coupon codes are for BOGO book coupon holders, and sponsors. Email us for a special code if you have a BOGO book.
Can I leave and return the same day?
Yes – you will get a wristband, and if you need to leave, you can just show your wristband to get back in. You will be refused re-entry if you are under the influence of alcohol/drugs. There is no re-entry after 9 pm.
Is this a family-friendly event?
Yes! There is something for all ages, so come on out and enjoy a day with the whole family!
Is there parking onsite?
General parking is available at the field across the road. Reserved wheelchair parking is available for those with a wheelchair parking pass. Parking is $5/ vehicle, paid onsite (cash only), with proceeds going to local community groups.
How do I get a guaranteed seat for the rodeo show?
We have a VIP bleacher, with individual numbered bucket seats! You can choose to upgrade your ticket to have a seat reserved, just for you! There are a limited number of these tickets available, so don’t wait too long! If you have a general admission day pass, the bleacher seating is first come, first serve.
Reserved seats are for rodeo performances only, not concerts. The concert stage is in the vendor area.
Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the event is fully wheelchair (and stroller) accessible. There are wheelchair parking spaces and handicapped porta-potty units. Please be advised that there is some uneven ground throughout the event grounds.
When do doors open?
Friday evening doors open at 5 PM.
Saturday doors open at 1 PM
Sunday doors open at 11 AM
Please, no early birds – we need time to get everything ready for you!

Is outside food/drink allowed?
Yes. We do have a variety of food vendors who would be happy for your business, but we realize that kids like constant snacks, and some people are on specific diets. Please support our vendors, but bring your own drinks or snacks as needed. NO outside alcohol (except for campers in the designated camping area – no glass).
I would like to volunteer. How do I sign up?
We love volunteers! Apply here! Please email us if you have questions about volunteering: info@norfolkrodeo.com. Volunteers get a free day pass!
Where can I stay overnight?
We have a limited amount of onsite camping for trailers and tents.

If you aren’t the camping type, there are several hotels and motels in Delhi and Simcoe (both about a 10 minute drive).
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, but, please be a responsible pet owner! Only bring your dog if they are friendly with other animals and with children. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and you must clean up after your pet.
I have a baby – where can I feed and/or change them?
There will be a parenting station (compliments of Norfolk Family Health Team), located in the vendor/picnic area. Or, feel free to find a picnic table or whatever works for you and your family!
My kids want to do the kids rodeo. Do I need to register them?
No, just show up! It is included with admission, and happens in the main rodeo arena. Check the event schedule for times. Recommended ages are from 4-12, but no one is checking their ID!
Is there a beer garden?
Yes, we have a bar! We are proud to serve up some of Norfolk County’s local beers, wines and ciders.
You must be 19+ to buy or drink alcohol. Be prepared to show your I.D. Security will be onsite.
NO outside alcohol (except for campers in the designated camping area – no glass containers).
Is there live music?
Yes! We will have live acoustic music in the vendor area both days, before the main rodeo performance and again during half time. After the main rodeo performance on Saturday, there will also be a concert (included with admission) … plan to stick around! Concerts are ALL AGES!
How do I use my BOGO book coupon?
You can use your BOGO book coupon to buy tickets in advance, or at the door (First come, first serve- not guaranteed to be available at the door). Email us for the special code! info@norfolkrodeo.com. You will pay full price for the first ticket, and then get the 2nd ticket (of equal or lesser value) for free. You must bring the physical coupon along with your tickets to the gate.
What type of seating is at the event?
All around the rodeo arena, there is high-quality bleacher seating, provided by Bleacher Rentals. Other than the VIP bleacher (which you can purchase an upgraded ticket for), the seating is first come, first serve. In the vendor area, there are picnic tables.
Where do the event proceeds go?
We are proud to support local groups like the Norfolk 4-H club, Simcoe Lions Club, Able Enterprises, Norfolk Hammerheads Swim Team and District 5 Snowmobile Club. Any additional proceeds are re-invested into the event, to help it grow and add more fun for the next year!
